According to a survey conducted in Japan from January to February 2024, a combined share of 54.5 percent of the respondents thought to varying degrees that generative artificial intelligence (AI) can generate illustrations that imitate a specific style. By contrast, only 19.8 percent of the respondents thought that the answers given by generative AI are always correct.
