Parcel stations are one way of making e-commerce more sustainable by consolidating shipments and delivering them to a pick-up point. However, for consumers, this means that they do not get their package delivered to their front door but have to pick it up at the station. Because of this, over 40 percent of respondents fully agreed with the statement that the use of parcel stations would only an option if they were easily accessible.
