In 2024, unit sales of electric vehicles in Egypt reached 55 units. This included 44 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and 11 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PEVs). From 2018 to 2023, BEV sales grew steadily, peaking at 67 sold vehicles in 2021. BEV sales are anticipated to have consistent growth, while PEV sales are projected to remain stable in the subsequent years. The unit sales of electric vehicles market are expected to reach 92 vehicles by 2029.
