As of December 2023, the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) ranked as the world's largest clearinghouse for derivatives in terms of open interest. The OCC reported 483 million contracts in open interest at year-end. Brazil's B3 was the second-largest in terms of open interest, with 203.6 million futures and options outstanding at the end of 2023.
