In a survey conducted among Australian consumers in October 2024 regarding their shopping intentions for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales period, debit card payments were the preferred payment method among almost half of respondents planning to shop during the sales event. Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services were the least popular payment method among those surveyed.
