Around one in four U.S. adults reported using someone else's video streaming passwords as of the first quarter of 2024. Younger adults aged 16 to 34 were the most likely to use another's passwords, with 56 percent doing so, compared to just 44 percent of those aged 35 to 74. Additionally, less Hispanic and Black viewers admitted using someone else's SVOD credentials than white consumers.
