The year-on-year average retail rental price of primary and secondary malls in the emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates rose by 10 percent as of March 2024. By this period, Abu Dhabi had considerably less gross leasable area (GLA) at 3.15 million, compared to Dubai's 4.8 million square meters. The latter is also expected to add another 104 thousand square meters of GLA by the end of the year, whereas Abu Dhabi had an additional 17 thousand square meters in the pipeline.
