As of June 2024, TikTok accounts sharing content about pop culture and entertainment had the highest followership in the United States, as 59 percent of TikTok audiences follow creators publishing this type of content. TikTok accounts that post dance and lip-sync videos engaged 37 percent of U.S. adults. Comedy, and vlogs were equally popular among U.S. internet users, as accounts posting content related to either category engaged 36 percent of the U.S. audience.
