Around 65 percent of respondents to a survey in the United Kingdom in 2024 expressed their support for climate change compensation from richer to poorer countries. The same poll showed that Green Party voters support such a measure the most, with 83 percent stating so. On contrast, voters of the right-wing party Reform UK supported that policy the least, with only 27 percent agreeing that wealthy countries should provide climate change compensation to poorer countries.
