In late 2024, less than one in 10 consumers in the United Kingdom (UK) said they had used generative AI while shopping during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Singles' Day before. That said, a considerable share of those who had not tried GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or Gemini) during major sales event shopping journeys planned to give it a shot in 2024.
