Generative AI services penetration rate in Japan 2024, by age group

According to a survey conducted by the Nippon Research Center in Japan in June 2024, 32.6 percent of men in their twenties had used a generative artificial intelligence (AI) service, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini. The survey showed that the share of respondents who had used a generative AI service was higher among men than among women throughout all age groups.
