During a 2024 survey among customer experience (CX) practitioners worldwide, almost two-thirds (or 65 percent) said the chief executive officers (CEOs) at their organizations actively championed CX strongly or very strongly. Around 31 percent described the CEO's enthusiasm as weak, while four percent said CEOs did not champion CX at all. According to the same study, almost four in 10 CX practitioners worked at companies without a senior executive in charge of CX across products and channels.
