According to a survey that was conducted from February to March 2024 among managers of Prime-listed companies in Japan, 77 percent of the respondents stated that their company planned to use generative artificial intelligence (AI) to improve its business efficiency. Almost half of the respondents stated that the objective was to reduce business costs.
