According to a survey conducted by Statista Consumer Insights among Generation Z in China, 32 percent of respondents were trying to spend less money in light of the economic circumstances as of September 2024. In addition, 26 percent of respondents felt that their cost of living has increased notably, and 21 percent had been experiencing stress and anxiety. However, 36 percent of respondents shared none of the worries mentioned in the survey.
