As of 2023, Morocco imported the highest value of goods from the European Union (EU), compared to other African countries. That year, the country's total merchandise imports from the EU amounted to just over 33 billion euros. This was followed by South Africa, Egypt, and Algeria, with around 26 billion euros, 21 billion euros, and 15 billion euros, respectively.
