In 2023, nearly 4,000 plug-in hybrid electric Volvos were registered for the first time in Finland, making the Swedish brand the best-seller for PHEVs. Fellow European brands BMW and Mercedes-Benz were second and third in the ranking, and the only other brands to record sales over 2,000 units.
