Imports of electric cars to Germany 2022-2023, by country of origin

In 2023, most electric cars imported by Germany came from China, with a total of around 129,800 imported vehicles. The number increased sharply by over 200 percent between 2022 and 2023. Imports from Korea also increased significantly, by almost 80 percent, to 44,197 imported electric cars.
