In 2023, 219 kilometers of roads were widened and reconstructed in Israel. This represented a significant decline compared to the preceding year, when 1,340 kilometers of road were upgraded. On the other hand, 60 kilometers of new roads were added to the country's road network in the same year, also a decrease compared to 2022.
