According to a survey conducted on the opinion on future water issues due to climate change in Japan in July 2024, 84.3 percent of respondents expressed concern about an increase in floods and sediment disasters due to climate instability. Following that, 67 percent of respondents indicated concern about the impact on the natural environment and ecosystems due to changes in precipitation and rising water.
