Difficulty in spotting true news on elections in the U.S. 2024, by party ID

During a survey conducted among U.S. adults in September 2024, it was found that over 60 percent of Republican respondents said it was difficult for them to determine whether the news on the 2024 elections was true or not. In contrast, 58 percent of Democratic respondents found it easy to discern the truth in election-related news.
