In 2023, the total value of fresh vegetables sales across grocery chains in Israel reached almost 4.2 billion Israeli shekels, about 1.1 billion U.S. dollars. This marked an increase of 8.7 percent in the sales value compared to the previous year. Between 2020 and 2021, there was a decline of 7.6 percent in the value of fresh vegetables sales. However, the value of sales improved in the subsequent years.
