The operation and maintenance costs of electricity generation technology in the United States are forecast to remain largely constant between 2023 and 2050. Only the costs of gas and offshore wind technology are forecast during that period of time, the former increasing by five U.S. dollars per megawatt-hour by 2030 and the latter decreasing by 10 U.S. dollars per megawatt-hour by 2050.
