About two thirds of electric bicycle owners let major repairs on their bikes, as well as inspection and maintenance, be carried out by specialist bicycle workshops, according to a bike study created by Statista and published by linexo by Wertgarantie in 2024. Meanwhile, around four fifths of e-bike owners take on the cleaning and care of the e-bike themselves.
