According to a 2022 survey in the United States, 56 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 29 years said that they would feel very or somewhat uncomfortable if their health care provider relied on artificial intelligence to do things like diagnose disease and recommend treatments. Meanwhile, the share of adults aged over 50 that shared the same sentiment was around 64 percent.
