As of 2022, 66 percent of women surveyed in the United States said that they would feel very or somewhat uncomfortable with their health care provider relying on artificial intelligence to do things like diagnose disease and recommend treatments. Meanwhile, the share of male adults with the same sentiment was around 54 percent.
