Leading natural disasters Japanese people are currently prepared for 2024

According to a survey conducted about natural disasters in Japan in August 2024, 46 percent of respondents stated that they were not taking any specific actions to prepare for natural disasters. The most common disasters that respondents were prepared for were earthquakes or tsunamis, with 33 percent indicating this, followed by typhoons, with a share of 24 percent.
