According to a survey conducted in the third quarter of 2024, the main external concern for businesses in the United Kingdom, compared with the previous quarter, was that of taxation, at almost half of responding firms. Inflation was the next most concerning external issue, at 46 percent of firms, followed by competition at 38 percent.
