According to a survey of internet users conducted between January 2024 and February 2024, 94 percent of Kenyan internet users reported watching short news videos. India followed, with 81 percent of its digital population watching short online videos to stay updated about current events and news. In Mexico, 77 percent of digital consumers reported that they used short-form videos on the internet as a news source during the same examined period.
