In 2023, the manufacturing industry experienced the highest proportion of cyberattack incidents among companies worldwide, accounting for 25.7 percent of reported cases. The finance and Insurance sector was the second most affected industry, with over 18 percent of incidents. Additionally, the professional, business, and consumer services industry reported 15.4 percent of incidents.
