During a September 2024 online survey among adults in the United States, 76 percent said they would like to see ads better targeted to their interests. Around 63 percent credited to an ad they saw their purchase of a product or service they had been unaware of, while 61 percent stated ads' frequency made them less likely to want to purchase from the advertiser.
