By 2030, China was forecasted to require the most hydrogen in the Asia-Pacific region for their industrial needs, with demand reaching close to 40 million metric tons (MtH2). The second-biggest user of hydrogen would be India, requiring approximately 14 MtH2 by 2030. By 2050, these two markets were forecasted to require a combined total of over 180 MtH2, accounting for more than two-thirds of the Asia-Pacific region's hydrogen needs.
