As of November 2023, around eight in 10 U.S. consumers would find in-car voice assistants useful for hand-free calling. Approximately three quarters of consumers also found the features enabling them to listen to navigational directions and obtain information about the surrounding area useful. These voice assistant features can already be provided by in-car systems through button controls.
