Global economic growth outlook perceived by CEOs APAC 2014-2024

According to a survey, over half of CEO respondents in the Asia-Pacific region doubted that global economic growth would get better in 2024. However, more CEOs in the region were optimistic about the global economy in 2024 compared to the previous year. CEOs were most positive about global economic expansion in 2022, with more than two-thirds of respondents expecting that global economic growth would improve.

The survey was conducted in countries and territories including: Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
