During the first half of 2024, Duolingo was the most downloaded education app on the Apple App Store. The language learning app registered approximately 24 million downloads from global users. Chinese educational app Baomi ranked second, with over 12 million downloads on iOS. The Chinese app Homework Helper ranked third with around seven million downloads on iOS during the same examined period. In comparison, Google Classroom had approximately 5.6 million downloads in the examined period.
