Cybersecurity prioritization level within companies in the EU 2024

As of 2024, in most EU countries, cybersecurity was a very high or fairly high priority for companies. In particular, for nearly 60 percent of Irish and Maltese companies, cybersecurity was of very high priority. On the other hand, cybersecurity constituted a low or very low priority for the majority of Romanian companies. This is due to cost concerns, as most enterprises consider cybersecurity a costly expense.
