In 2024, a survey found that more than 70 percent of employees in the Asia-Pacific region used generative AI (GenAI) for work purposes, with 16 percent using GenAI tools every day. Meanwhile, nearly a third of employees in the region never used GenAI at work.

The survey was conducted in countries and territories including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
