Hand care product users in Germany 2024

In 2024, there were around 20.11 million people in the German-speaking population aged 14 and over who had used special hand care products in the last seven days at the time of the survey. This was a decrease compared to the previous year and the lowest number within this timeframe.

The Allensbach Market and Advertising Media Analysis, or AWA for short, determines the attitudes, consumer habits and media use of the population in Germany on a broad statistical basis.

Basis is the German-speaking population aged 14 and over in private households at the place of main residence in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Information on the entire sample:

2019: 23,318 respondents, extrapolation to 70.60 million people.

2020: 23,191 respondents, extrapolation to 70.64 million people.

2021: 22,563 respondents, extrapolation to 70.54 million people.

2022: 23,015 respondents, extrapolation to 70.60 million people

2023: 23,524 respondents, extrapolation to 70.08 million people

2024: 23,485 respondents, extrapolation to 70.48 million people.
