In a survey conducted in Germany in October 2023, German battery-electric vehicle drivers were asked about their awareness of the various vehicle-to-grid functionalities. According to these results, 29 percent of respondents heard of it and knew a lot about it. On the other hand, 38 percent of respondents had not heard about these technologies.

Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) is a technology that allows electric vehicles (EVs) to interact with the power grid by using their batteries as temporary storage, supplying energy back to the grid when parked. German Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) drivers were surveyed about their awareness of this technology.
An online survey was launched in October 2023 and was answered by 2,065 respondents, of which 1,919 were filled out by non-BEV drivers and 146 by BEV drivers in Germany.
