Based on a survey conducted in Germany in October 2023, three in 10 battery-electric vehicle drivers fully agree that they know the origin of the electricity used to recharge their car at public chargers. However, 28 percent of German respondents do not feel like they know about the origin of the electricity used for charging their BEVs.

An online survey was launched in October 2023 and was answered by 2,065 respondents, of which 1,919 were filled out by non-BEV drivers and 146 by BEV drivers in Germany.Â
