During the first half of 2024, entertainment apps generated over 2.65 billion U.S. dollars in revenues. Social networking apps generated around 772.6 million U.S. dollars in revenues. Photo and video apps represented the third highest-grossing app category with 673 million U.S. dollars in revenues from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store during the first six months of 2024.
