Public reporting was ranked as the second-highest area of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) importance by private equity (PE) firms headquartered in selected areas of Europe and the United States. Governance and resources was ranked as the most important area of ESG, with 53 percent of respondents having ranked governance and resources in the number one or number spot.
