In a 2024 survey on mobile network quality and usage in India, the share of mobile internet users in India with 3G, 4G, or 5G connections who faced disruptions or slow speeds during digital payments was 75 percent. This was a decrease compared to a similar survey conducted in 2022. This previous survey was conducted prior to the introduction of 5G technology in India.
