When asked about their level of trust in advertisements across media such as print, digital, radio, and television in India, more than half the survey respondents revealed having low levels of trust in 2024. Another 25 percent of respondents reported having zero trust in advertising across all the media formats. Misleading advertisements surged in India since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
