According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2024 in Taiwan, 55 percent of respondents who have not engaged in live commerce shopping indicated that their preference for purchasing from official websites or physical stores was the biggest reason deterring them from buying through live commerce. Additionally, 46 percent expressed skepticism about products endorsed through live shopping events.
