Forecast lithium-ion battery production share 2030, by chemistry

In 2030, nickel-manganese-cobalt batteries are projected to account for the largest share of battery production by far, at 81 percent. Lithium nickel-cobalt-aluminum oxide (NCA) batteries are expected to account for eight percent of global production.
