During the second quarter of 2024, shooter games were the most popular gaming genre on live-streaming platform Twitch, generating over 1.67 billion of hours watched during that period. This genre was followed by adventure and RPG, which accumulated 1.61 billion and 1.4 billion of hours watched, respectively. Indie games ranked tenth, with 443.69 million hours watched.
