In 2024, Meta captured a 21.3 percent share of digital ad spending in the United States, while U.S. adults spent 7.5 percent of their digital media time on Meta's platforms. Despite American adults devoting 7.3 percent of their digital media time to Netflix — slightly less than the share allotted to Meta — the streaming giant's share of digital ad spending was lower than that of all other examined platforms.
