A 2023 survey of travelers in the United States revealed that the leading change planned for 2024 due to inflation was taking fewer trips, with 19 percent of respondents saying so. Meanwhile, 18 percent said they would opt for road trips rather than flying. Additionally, 14 percent, respectively, planned to travel during the off-season, shorten the duration of their trips, or consider changing their destination.
