Changes in banks' ESG budget 2023

A survey of 111 banks from over 20 countries revealed that most banks worldwide increased their ESG budgets in 2023. 63 percent of respondents reported a budget increase, with an additional eight percent noting a significant increase. In contrast, only two percent of banks surveyed decreased their ESG budgets compared to the previous year.
