As of 2022, Grand Casablanca-Settat region had the largest population in Morocco, standing at around 7.6 million people. This reflected a growth of about 100,000 residents from the previous year. In contrast, the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab had 193,000 inhabitants, the lowest regional population in the country.
